BedTime Helper is a collection of tools for those who have trouble sleeping. The app allows you to build a personalised routine of bedtime activities and notifies you when its time to start your routine every evening. It also has a host of advice, and relaxation resources, such as audio files to guide you through relaxation and meditation. How does it work?Most psychotherapists will advise clients who have trouble sleeping to set and follow a consistent bedtime routine and get into bed the same time each evening. This practice is based on the principle of habit formation, the simple idea that the more we do something, the easier it becomes. Applied to sleep, it means that the more one practices the discipline of starting to prepare for bed at the same time each evening, the more this will enter their habit and help them have a healthy sleep pattern. This is not a quick fix, but it does work in the long-term.At the same time, many other factors can disrupt sleep, such as worry and tension, or lifestyle and basic diet factors, so we have included in the BedTime Helper some practical advice and tools to help with relaxation and lifestyle changes. It won't start my routine. I took all the time to set up my routine and it won't even start. Save your time!

Conceptually, it seemed this app might do what I wanted: remind me to start my bedtime routine, remind me of each step, and let me check off to the next one. Unfortunately it didn't remind me. Got a notification the 1st night, and as I checked off items, I skipped one, and suddenly the app congratulated me on completing my routine. But not as annoying as getting no notification the 2nd night, but then getting one the following morning. Tonight I saw the notification in bed. Deleting the app.

Cool but useless. Won't ring something or throw an all screen alert. You'll find at 2AM that you forgot to sleep and the app had always been sleeping.:))

I'm going to have to agree with the other reviewers when they say this app doesn't not work properly. The nightly reminders are not consistent and there is no way to manually input your routine. Unfortunately I'll have to delete this app as it's not serving it's intended purposes.

Love the idea and when it works, brill. But the reminders don't go off and I can't start the routine without them. There is no way to start the routine manually it appears? Unless you can help with that?

I want to give it higher but the app has trouble reminding me on a regular basis. Sometimes it misses days and sometimes it shows up late. I throughly enjoy this app however, and would be more than happy to recomend it. Just hope it gets a little fine tuning.

Does not notify when it is routine start time, or allows me to check boxes or even complete a routine. pointless...went past bedtime trying to get it to work....looking for another app

I love this app it has helped me a lot with my sleeping. I would love if it could Maby track sleep activity by your age and bedtime though. apart from that I love this app
